MURCH.STUDIO

Privacy

A plain-language privacy notice

This notice applies to murch.studio. The short version: I collect only what helps me reply or keep the promise attached to a signup. I do not sell personal information, use it for cross-site advertising, or quietly add contact-form senders to a mailing list.

What I collect

Subscriptions and interest lists. When you subscribe or join a product, beta, or collaborator list, I collect your email address, the list you chose, the page where you submitted it, the submission time, and the version of the signup disclosure shown to you. The same address may belong to more than one list if you chose more than one.

Messages. When you use the contact form, I collect the name, email address, and message you provide. A contact message does not subscribe you to anything.

Ordinary service data. The hosting and relay providers may process routine request information such as IP address, browser or user-agent information, requested page, and time for delivery, security, abuse prevention, and operational logging. Murch Studio does not currently run advertising pixels, behavioral analytics, or cross-site trackers.

How I use it

I use subscription information to remember what you asked to hear about, maintain aggregate signup counts, and—when there is something worth sending—deliver the occasional update associated with that list. I use contact information to read and respond to messages. I may also use limited technical information to protect the forms and diagnose failures.

I do not sell or rent personal information. I do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. I do not use signup or contact information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Where it goes

Vercel hosts the public site. Cloudflare runs the form relay and stores subscription records in Workers KV. AgentMail delivers contact messages and new-signup notifications to me. These providers process information on Murch Studio's behalf under their own security and privacy terms, and their systems may process data in the United States or other locations where they operate.

Contact-form messages are relayed through AgentMail; they are not stored in the subscription database. Subscription records are stored in Cloudflare KV, and a notification containing the signup details is delivered to me through AgentMail.

Email choices

Murch Studio does not currently run an automated marketing campaign. Before commercial updates begin, those messages will identify the sender, include a valid postal address, and provide a clear way to unsubscribe. You can ask to be removed now; you do not need to wait for an email.

Retention

I keep active subscription records while they remain reasonably useful for the list you joined. I review dormant pre-launch records at least annually and delete information that is no longer needed. Contact messages are retained as needed to respond and manage the resulting correspondence, then deleted when they are no longer useful.

If you unsubscribe, I may retain the smallest practical suppression record—your normalized address or a one-way identifier, the date, and the scope of the request—so that I do not accidentally add you back or email you again. Service providers may retain limited logs under their own documented schedules.

Your choices

You may ask what information I have about you, request a correction, unsubscribe from any or all lists, or ask me to delete information that is no longer needed. Use the contact form and include the email address involved so I can find the right record. I handle these requests manually and may ask for reasonable verification before disclosing or deleting information.

Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or honoring an unsubscribe request. I will otherwise aim to complete a verified request within 30 days.

Cookies and browser signals

Murch Studio does not currently use advertising cookies or track your activity across unrelated sites. Because the site does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, it does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals. If those practices change, this notice will change first.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child submitted information, use the contact form and I will remove it.

Changes and contact

I will post material changes here and update the effective date below. Questions and privacy requests go through the contact form.
